Good news. We’re looking at January for a couple more shoot dates. We can’t wait to get out into the field again, but in the meantime, we’ve been going over our last shoot at ComicCon. There’s a special scene where little Malachai runs into an army of costume-clad warriors. You should have seen the expression on his face! It was pure joy. Not a trace of cynicism or disbelief. The warriors were as real to him as anything else. This holiday season, we wish for all of you a bit of Malachai’s joy. It’s hard to believe, but we started our documentary project exactly a year ago. Since then we’ve shot in 3 states and interviewed more wonderful Axe Cop fans than we can count. And yet, we’re still not finished. More production is planned for the coming months. Some days we want to say, “This is it. No more shooting. We’re done.” But documentaries are funny things. We’re covering real life events and sometimes you just have to go with the story, with all its twists and turns. So hang in there with us, you won’t be disappointed. ...

We have launched the “Axe Cop Documentary” website! Expect a new blog every time we’ve got something to report. We’ll try to stay on topic.
